Monster in the Mansion Maps: Full Floor Plan, Hiding Spots & Escapes
The complete Monster in the Mansion floor plan — foyer, bedrooms wing, cellar, gallery and library — with hiding spots, objectives, and the fastest escape routes.
Monster in the Mansion Maps
The mansion is a maze, and the players who survive are the ones who know it. This page maps the main areas, marks the hiding spots that matter, and shows the fastest escape routes so you are never cornered when the monster appears.
Note: room names below describe the typical mansion layout. Exact props and spawns can shift between updates — treat this as a mental model, not a fixed grid.
Foyer & Grand Hall
- Role: main spawn and the primary escape.
- Risk: open sightlines; the monster loves to patrol here early.
- Hides: the coat closet near the door, behind the grand staircase.
- Tip: learn the exit first. If you only memorize one route, make it this one.
Bedrooms Wing
- Role: side objectives and the safest quiet zone.
- Risk: long carpeted halls — quiet to walk, but few corners to break sight.
- Hides: under-bed gaps, wardrobe lockers.
- Tip: good place to regroup and revive a downed teammate away from the monster's patrol.
Cellar & Wine Room
- Role: dark, risky loot and objective route.
- Risk: almost no light — you are blind, but so is the monster. High tension.
- Hides: behind barrels, in the wine racks.
- Tip: only go down here with a plan and a flashlight you can kill instantly.
Gallery & Library
- Role: long sightlines, often an objective cluster.
- Risk: the most dangerous rooms — the monster spots you from across the hall.
- Hides: between bookshelves, behind the gallery curtains.
- Tip: crouch-walk, keep lights off, and never cross the open center unless it is clear.
Safe Routes vs. Dead Ends
- Safe: foyer → bedrooms (quiet, hideable) → escape.
- Risky: gallery center, open cellar stairs (exposed both ways).
- Dead-end trap: the conservatory nook — pretty, but only one way out.
Escape Planning
Before a round heats up, know:
- The nearest escape from your current objective.
- A backup route if the main hall is blocked.
- One hiding spot between you and that exit.
The monster cannot catch what it cannot track. Move through the quiet, dark routes and you will reach the exit with time to spare.
