Survivor Tier List in Monster in the Mansion (Roles)

No classes published, so this ranks the four roles by round impact: Cure Carrier and Runner top, Support next, Decoy contextual.

Survivor Tier List in Monster in the Mansion

With no published characters for Early Access, a traditional character tier list is impossible — and we will not invent one. Instead, this role tier list ranks the four survivor roles by how much they move the cure loop. It is the most honest "tier list" the game can have until classes ship.

S-Tier: Cure Carrier

The player who applies the antidote wins the round. Highest impact, highest risk. Must master How to Cure the Monster. One good carrier beats three passive survivors.

S-Tier: Runner

Book collection is the bottleneck. A quiet, fast runner keeps the antidote on track. Three runners is the standard split. Routes from Mansion Layout make or break this role.

A-Tier: Support

Guards the craft, revives downed runners, holds objectives. Quiet but essential — a lobby without support loses carriers to downtime.

B-Tier: Decoy (Contextual)

Highest variance. A great decoy wins rounds; a bad one feeds the monster. Skill-dependent, so it ranks lower by default but can swing a game. See Communication Tips.

Why No Characters?

Ubermonster has not published character classes or perks. When they do, this list becomes a real character tier list. Until then, role impact is what you can actually rank. Track Latest Updates for the shift.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this a character tier list?

No — roles only, because classes are unannounced. It becomes a character list at launch.

Who should I main?

Whoever your lobby lacks. Most lobbies need Runners and a Carrier; Decoys are often over- or under-filled.

Does the monster have a tier?

Different role; see How to Play the Monster.
